Change takes drive. adidas Day One is tailored performance for the court—where making the shot is as crucial as making a statement. Our always-on, always-moving lives call for something more. That more is adidas Day One, an elevated capsule collection that each season explores a different facet of the adidas DNA. Intelligently engineered, Day One resides at the intersection of sports and leisure, placing adidas’ performance expertise in a lifestyle context. Each piece is executed with the key elements of style, attitude, and innovation.
For Spring/Summer 2017, adidas Day One offers breakthroughs in basketball and running, two categories that have been central to the innovations-driven German sportswear label for decades. Executed entirely in a palette of blacks, grays, beiges, and olives, the collection can be seamlessly integrated into a wearer’s daily repertoire.
The first drop of this season’s offering brings new elegance to the basketball court. The Waffle Hooded TT is a fresh take on the classic hoodie with a boxy fit and 3-tone waffle fabric. Dipped-tip drawcords and raw-edge details add extra texture. Slim tailoring arrives on-court via the Compact Terry TT, serving raw-edge details, mesh inserts, and a bold, oversize zipper pull. The Compression Tee and Seamless Shorts comprise the new b-ball uniform with their sleek, considered designs. The former offers second-skin fit and the latter a comfortable, premium, seamless construction. The pieces fit together to inspire a wearer’s style and performance. Because it’s always Day One.

Founded in Busan in 1997, Kasina has since opened stores across the country and overseen the nation’s emergence on the international style stage. Over the past two decades, Kasina and adidas have become frequent collaborators - in May 2016, the adidas concept shop ‘DAS 107 by Kasina’ opened in Seoul’s Hongdae neighborhood.
The pack takes the EQT Lacing and the Tubular Doom and portrays them in a fresh light.
