Undefeated Action Capabilities.’ These are the words that appear printed across a selection of pieces in the latest collaboration between adidas and Los Angeles-based streetwear icons Undefeated. The purely functional, maximum-impact wording exemplifies the qualities that each brand brings to the partnership. It is a collection for those who push the natural strength of the human body to its limits, for those who won’t let anyone, or anything get in the way of their program. Equipment for those who run under midnight streetlights and train in the twilight of an emerging urban sunrise.

This idea is captured in both the bespoke, grayscale camouflage age patterns that appear throughout the capsule and the campaign imagery itself, turning the lens on the boxing regime of Pedro ‘Lil Pete’ Duran, the California local who has been sponsored and supported by Undefeated since he was just twelve years old. The result is a synthesis of two worlds that require uncompromising commitment to succeed in, rendered in low-fidelity images that capture an intensely personal pursuit.

The function- first ideals of the collection are given clout through an all-star line-up of pioneering performance technologies. The footwear styles feature recent adidas advances including BOOST soles for ultra-responsive cushioning and Primeknit uppers that wrap the foot in adaptive, lightweight and comfortable support.
