G-Shock AWM500GC-1A
G-Shock AWM500GC-1A Limited Edition Porter / Yoshida & Co. Watch
The original digital-analog G-SHOCK first went metal in the AWM-500 line. Now, the iconic AW-500G, originally released in 1989, has been reimagined in a striking full metal edition.
The dial features the original shock-resistance graph in gold print to take you back to those early G-SHOCK days. Meanwhile, today’s cutting-edge diamond-like carbon coating technology yields a highly scratch-resistant stainless steel bezel and band in elegant black. More than just a nostalgic revival, this is a timepiece packed with the latest Casio technology for full-on functionality.
For this collaboration, PORTER delivers a one-of-a-kind carrying case that pays homage to the original watch graphics and hand design. The zipper is inspired by the red hour hand and gold minute hand, and the same shock-resistance graph is stamped in gold on the case top.
